Grace Kawamura, violinist,
is a musician and educator in the Metro-Atlanta area. Prior to her studies with Andrew Jennings at the University of Michigan’s masters program, she completed her undergraduate studies under the tutelage of Helen Hwaya Kim at Kennesaw State University. Grace has performed with orchestras such as the Atlanta Opera Orchestra, Georgia Symphony Orchestra, Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and currently holds the Principal Second Violin chair of CityMusic Cleveland Chamber Orchestra. A strong advocate for new music, Grace has premiered and performed many works of composers from the Metro-Detroit and Atlanta areas. Grace is currently the Middle School Orchestra Director and private violin instructor at the Lovett School in Atlanta, GA.

Emily Hindes holds a B.M. in string performance from Kennesaw State University as well as a Master’s Degree in instrumental performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she studied with Dr. Bernard Zinck. Mrs. Hindes has been an active participant in orchestras, small ensembles, solo performances, and many freelance projects around both Atlanta and Milwaukee. Emily has recorded with local artists, including Quiet Hounds, Matt Jackson and Daniel Bashta, who currently signed with Integrity Music. Emily has taught privately since 2010 and has coached chamber groups for the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra. She has participated in chamber competitions throughout the state of Georgia and attended violin teacher workshops in Milwaukee and Atlanta. Currently, Emily serves as the Operations Manager for the Georgia Symphony Orchestra and is the private violin/viola instructor at Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw. She gigs in and around Atlanta, keeping up her classical background as well as using her improvisational skills.

Heather Vincenty brings over 30 years of professional orchestral and chamber experience as the founding member of the quartet. After Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, Heather has performed with the Ohio Chamber Orchestra, Luciano Pavarotti, Erie Philharmonic, Ashland Symphony, Akron Symphony, Telarc Records, Alpharetta Symphony, Atlanta International Symphony, Georgia Philharmonic and the Georgia Symphony Orchestra. She also performs with and serves on the board for the Ludwig Symphony. This is Heather's second professional quartet project, following a very successful 15 years in Cleveland, Ohio with the Bicycle String Quartet. She may also be occasionally found playing electric violin for local rock bands. Heather is currently living in Marietta, GA, with her two kids and two dogs.

Dwayne Wasson is a native of Tennessee. He began his musical training at Tennessee Tech University, continuing with his Masters from Belmont University, and his Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied with Phyllis Young. He has also completed his certification for Suzuki Training for Cello. Dwayne has performed with the Jackson Symphony, Paducah Symphony, and Muscle Shoals Symphony. Most recently, he can be found performing with the Georgia Symphony Orchestra. Currently, he is Director of Orchestras and Fine Arts Department Chair at Wheeler High School in Marietta, GA. Previously, he was assistant Professor of Music at Kent State University. He has also taught in the Austin, TX Independent School District and the Huntsville, AL City Schools. He holds memberships in the Georgia Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, and the American String Teachers Association.
